ADMEA is pleased to announce that the March 28, 2012 edition of the HME Compliance Connection webinar series will feature noted Washington, DC attorneys Elizabeth Carder-Thompson and Erin Janssen, who will present “The RISK ASSESSMENT: Your Key to an Effective Compliance Program.”

The program will present practical advice, suggestions and examples of how to conduct an assessment of high risk areas in the DMEPOS industry using the appropriate people and best tools.  The program will help providers to identify specific sources for assessing and prioritizing risk areas relevant to compliance audits.  Carder-Thompson and Janssen will also explain how compliance assessments are instrumental for creating or updating corporate policies and procedures related to compliance.  Finally, the webinar will discuss the need for tailored assessments depending on a variety of factors, but will also present a few examples of risk assessment tools to be used for some currently "hot" issues in the DMEPOS space.
